Project Summary
The client wanted a distinctive and moody tone for the bedroom floor, without losing the warmth and character of real wood. We worked with 50 x 10 mm teak, chosen for its natural stability and straight grain. The planks were installed using Bona R848, a flexible, silane-based adhesive that ensures a secure bond. To achieve the desired deep tone, we stained the floor using Bona DriFast Stain in Graphite. This was followed by Bona Prime Intense to bring out richness and uniformity in the colour, and finally Bona Traffic HD to provide a durable, low-sheen finish that protects without compromising the natural look.
