Specially Selected Custom Machined

To meet the requirement for "Quiet Luxury," we sourced First European Quality (FEQ) Burmese Teak. Unlike standard timber, FEQ Teak is harvested and selected for its straight grain, minimal knots, and exceptional dimensional stability.

Custom Machining: Each plank was specially cut and machined to a precise 90mm x 15mm format. This specific ratio was chosen to create a sophisticated rhythm across the floor, avoiding the bulkiness of wider planks while offering more substance than traditional mosaic strips.

Sheen Level : We have customised the sheen level using Bona Traffic HD System to 7% to highlight grains of the timber during the mid morning sunlight that hits kitchen and dining room.

Timelessness Over Trend

The primary challenge was to deliver a floor that felt "established" rather than "new." Burmese Teak naturally possesses a rich, golden-brown hue, but left untreated or finished with high-gloss, it can appear overly "loud."

The Tonal Shift: Our finishing team developed a bespoke undertone treatment. By subtly neutralizing the more aggressive orange and yellow pigments inherent in raw teak, we achieved a muted, "dusty" gold.

The Finish: This specific undertone ensures the floor remains a neutral backdrop. It absorbs light rather than reflecting it harshly, contributing to the serene, hushed atmosphere the client desired.
