Review
Teak is one of the most popular species for flooring in India. And recently became one of the most expensive one also after the recent log export ban from Burma.
A very stable and durable species, teak has been used for all sort of construction activities in India for ages. It ages gracefully and turns a bit more golden brown as it gets oxidised with contact with air.Expect more natural twisting grains and a bit of knots on the floor. Also expect natural colour variations.
We recommend teak for all sorts of wooden flooring applications but be warned, this is an expensive option for flooring. At current prices, the species will cost from above Rs. 400 per square feet and ranges above Rs. 1000 per square feet for wider and thicker options.
Available Flooring Options: Blocks, Strip & Plank Flooring.
